20th December 2016

Amazing half day motorbike ride! Mr Phu was an excellent host and attended to our every need. Mr Phu met us at our hotel with two 125cc manually geared bikes then we did the safety checks and got to know our bikes with some short sharp riding trials. Once confident my wife and followed Mr Phu on our 4 hour amazing expidition around the outer regions and villages along safe small roads and tracks. Stopped to see 90yr old great grandma on the pottery wheel and my wife had a go too! Then on to a small interesting village where a cool drink was supplied and we did a tour of the local market. Next stop was the grass matt making house then onto the 300yr old silk manufacturing shed which was so interesting. Stopped several times along the way at amazing places with great views to take photos! Mr Phu was attentive, had good English and taught us a lot about the local food, fiahing, culture, religion and he was also very funny with a few jokes. We stopped for real Vietnamese coffee which was delightful, my wife and I are in our fifties and hadnt riden for years but Mr Phu was so helpful and amazing we cannot thank him enough for what was the best day ever!
