This full day tour starts off in Hoi An, where your experienced guide will pick you up at your hotel. From there we ride along quiet countryside roads past vast rice fields to the Marble Mountains. The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located near Da Nang and are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth). We will climb the 156 steps to the summit of Thuy and take in the panoramic views of the other mountains and China Beach. We will also explore the many Hindu and Buddhist sanctuaries and grottoes that exist on the mountain and that feature statuary and relief depictions of religious scenes carved out of the marble. The village at the base of the mountain is famous for its stone sculpture craft and provides a great opportunity to bring home a stone or marble souvenir.

Next, we will ride along the sandy My Khe beach and stop to take some photos before we proceed up the windy roads of the Hai Van Pass (ocean cloud pass) to an elevation of 496 meters (1,627 ft). The Hai Van Pass crosses over the Truong Son mountain range that emerges from the west and juts into the South China Sea, which provides for spectacular views. After exploring old military installations found on top of the Pass, we will ride down the other side to Lang Co Bay where we will stop for lunch at one of Lang Co Bay’s famous seafood restaurants.

After lunch, we ride to a secret waterfall for a relaxing and refreshing swim. We will end our tour back in Hoi An after returning through the Vietnam countryside.

My husband Nick and I took a motorbike tour with Phu on our honeymoon. This was a highlight of our entire honeymoon. Phu was a great tour guide. We went to unique places and beautiful views.
1. Phu picked us up at our hotel in Hoi An.
2. We drove through beautiful Hoi An rice fields and country sides.
3. Then we saw a temple that is 1,000 years old. Very cool
4. Next we went to a local coffee shop for a lovely cup of joe
5. Then we went through High Van Pass. The view was incredible. Phu was fantastic at explaining the history and stopping for go pro video and pictures.
6. We had lunch at this fishermans wharf. The fish they keep alive until you order them. It was the best meal we had in Vietnam. See my pictures. The Oysters were the best Oysters I’ve ever had! Also the Muscles were fantastic.

7. Then Phu took us to this private fresh waterfall and swimming lagoon. So romantic and it was just me and my husband swimming there!!!
8. Then we went back over High Van Pass and motorbiked along the coast line through Danang. An incredible view
9. Then we went to marble mountain for great pictures.
10. Finally Phu recommended a fantastic restaurant for us to have dinner at in Hoi An.
This was such a great tour. What a treat! We recommend for all. Must do!!!!

My friend and I did this tour with Phu and one of his colleague a few weeks ago. It was a highlight of our trip in Vietnam. His tour is unique, unlike the products of a lot of the major tour companies which is a huge plus. He responds very quickly and is so warm and friendly. Not only was spending the day together a pleasure but organising it was painless. We loved it and I have to say the secluded waterfall he takes you to swim is really a special treat. Phu is a very impressive entrepreneur and we wish him every success in the future- I can’t recommend his tour enough.
